Julianne Hough Partnered with Cody Linley for Season 7

It was announced today that Julianne Hough will be partnered with Cody Linley for Season 7 of Dancing With The Stars. Cody made his acting debut in 1998, in the made for TV movie Still Holding On.. The Legend of Cadillac Jack . He is best known for his portrayal of Jake Ryan on the Disney Channels Hannah Montana show.
At 18, he will be the youngest contestant in the shows history.

This will be Juliannes fourth season on the show. She is a two time champion. First with Apolo Anton Ohno and then with Helio Castroneves.

Julianne Hough

As a two-time champion of Dancing With the Stars, Julianne Hough has a legion of fans. Now the pursuit of her real dream of becoming a country star is winning her even more. With her debut single, “That Song in My Head,” already a hit, blonde from Prove, Utah, seems well on her way to realizing her dream. CW caught up with the 20-year-old beauty to find out what she’s up to when she’s not singing and dancing. –MARIA DINOIA

1-Tell us something your fans would be surprised to learn about you.

That I am very adventurous and like extreme sports and am kind of a tomboy.

2-When you’re not working, what do you like to do for fun?

Wakeboarding, sky diving, movies, snowboarding.

3-You come from a large family, five siblings, what is your most memorable family vacation?

Our family reunion every year in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

4-If you had to drive across the country and could bring one album to listen to, what would it be?

U2’s Joshua Tree or a Bruce Springsteen CD.

5-What do you consider the biggest waste of time?

Getting stuck in traffic.

6-Is there a TV show you’d just love to guest star on?

Family Guy.

7-If we wanted to look through your closet, what would we find?

Lots of shoes, jeans and plenty of laundry I never get a chance to do.

8-Is there someone you’d just love to sing a duet with?

Josh Turner or Dolly Parton.

9-What was a favorite Christmas present that you’ve received?

I can’t recall a specific gift, but I have lots of great memories of Christmas Eve. Every year we go ice skating, then come home and have hot chocolate and we all open one gift, which is always pajamas.

Julianne Hough, as a professional ballroom and Latin dancer, Julianne Hough had it made -- had she stayed in London -- at the age of 15. After all, she was the youngest dancer and only American to ever win the prestigious Junior Blackpool World Latin Championship and the International Latin Youth Championship.

But what kept Julianne Hough from pursuing a lucrative career as a competitive dancer overseas was her desire to become a country singer.

And did she ever achieve that! In less than two months since her self-titled debut album came out, Hough scored the No. 1 CD on Billboard's Country Album chart and the No. 3 spot on the Billboard 200 pop chart. Her lead single, "That Song In My Head," reached the Top 25. And she's on one of the hottest tours of the summer with Brad Paisley, Jewel and Chuck Wicks. They'll perform July 24 at the New England Dodge Music Center in Hartford.
