Julianne Hough Talks About ACM Win, Dancing With the Stars
VEGAS -- As a two-time champion, Julianne Hough is used to people calling in to vote for her on Dancing With the Stars. However, when she accepted the trophy for top new artist -- a fan-voted category -- at the ACM Awards on Sunday (April 5) in Las Vegas, she made it a point to emphasize her gratitude to the fans.

Award-winning country star JULIANNE HOUGH is ditching her day job as a professional on TV talent show DANCING WITH THE STARS, so she can concentrate on her singing career.
The talented 20-year-old has juggled the two careers simultaneously since finding fame on the reality show in 2007.
But, after scooping the Top New Artist Prize at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday (05Apr09), Hough has decided her future is behind the mic.

First to hit the floor were Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough with Viennese waltz. Len said that Chuck has come out of hibernation although some footwork will be required.
Bruno saw that Chuck has finally stepped out of Julianne's shadow but Carrie disagreed, saying that Chuck often lost focus and confidence. The score was 7-8-8, giving it 23 out of 30. Apr

Julianne Hough does a little dance on stage during the Academy of Country Music all-star concert at the Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas on Friday night (April 3).
The 20-year-old dancer/singer was recently named ACM’s Top New Female Vocalist. Top New Male Vocalist went to Jake Owen and the Zac Brown Band stole the New Duo or Group category. You can still vote for the overall Top New Artist category.
The Academy of Country Music Awards air Sunday, April 5 @ 8PM ET/PT on CBS.
