Julianne Hough, as a professional ballroom and Latin dancer, Julianne Hough had it made -- had she stayed in London -- at the age of 15. After all, she was the youngest dancer and only American to ever win the prestigious Junior Blackpool World Latin Championship and the International Latin Youth Championship.
But what kept Julianne Hough from pursuing a lucrative career as a competitive dancer overseas was her desire to become a country singer.
And did she ever achieve that! In less than two months since her self-titled debut album came out, Hough scored the No. 1 CD on Billboard's Country Album chart and the No. 3 spot on the Billboard 200 pop chart. Her lead single, "That Song In My Head," reached the Top 25. And she's on one of the hottest tours of the summer with Brad Paisley, Jewel and Chuck Wicks. They'll perform July 24 at the New England Dodge Music Center in Hartford.
